Our Centre is offering a variety of different Secondary School courses aimed at students studying in forms 1-6 in Hong Kong. The courses complement the student’s learning at school and will greatly improve their overall ability to communicate in English.
Integrated English Course
A topic-based programme that complements the curriculum at school. This course focuses on the four English language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as vocabulary development and grammar.
Students improve their English Communication skills through interactive exercises.
Level: F1 – F2, F3 – F4
Focus on Writing and Grammar
Students who wish to develop their writing skills in a variety of genres, e.g. letters, essays, reports, will benefit from this course.
Students will learn how to effectively plan and organise their writing, link sentences effectively, and develop their own writing style.

DSE Exam Preparation
This course will help students to become familiar and develop the skills needed to be successful in the HKDSE examination.
- Reading Identify the main theme, key details, contextual meaning of the text and interpret the writer’s feelings and opinion.
- Writing Write text using appropriate tone, style and register and the salient features of different genres in a structured and logical order.
- Listening Understand and identify the key details of a range of spoken texts, interpret speakers’ feelings, views, attitudes and intentions.
- Speaking Produce coherent and structured speeches and participate in group discussions with ideas effectively, clearly presented and delivered with accurate pronunciation, appropriate pace, volume, intonation, stress, eye contact and body language.
